Jeanne Oliver Studio Workshops 2017 | We Have a Few Spots Left

I love that our creative network has allowed us to teach and learn with thousands from all over the world and to gather in the most unusual and incredible way. I know we have all made friends and kindreds because of the power of the internet. I also know that meeting in person is powerful and heart changing too and it allows me to create, teach, connect and love on others in a whole different way.

When we built our studio it was my heart that a small number of times a year we would gather women on our land and into our home for beautiful food, intimate teaching, true connection and the quiet to allow hearts and heads to hear one another.

I am teaching two workshops this fall because the first one sold out so quickly that we opened a second weekend. The Wild Awakening workshop is more intimate because we need more room to create big. We have two last minute openings for the second weekend of Wild Awakening and we would love to have you join us and play all weekend!

We are also bringing Wendy Brightbill and Stephanie Lee to our studio this fall!  These are two incredibly generous and lavishing artists and teachers. Come and see if one of our workshops is right for you…

Those that are more active may choose to join a guided bike tour through West-Friesland, where windmills, tulip fields and fruit orchards abound. (B,L,D)

DAY 5

MIDDELBURG

After cruising the Delta today, you can explore Middelburg, which boasts more than 1,000 city monuments, on a walking tour. Day 2 VERNON
Spend the morning enjoying the scenery along the Seine as you cruise to the provincial town of Vernon. Upon arrival, you will have free time to explore the town at your leisure. The town’s medieval Sainte-Catherine church, with its separate bell tower, is the largest wooden church in France. As an alternative, choose the “Routes des Abbayes” excursion spotlighting Normandy’s famous abbeys, more than 100 of which once covered this region. You will visit the ruined abbey in Jumièges as well as St. Wandrille, still a working monastery. (B,L,D)

Day 4 CAUDEBEC-EN-CAUX – NORMANDY BEACHES
Today, you have the choice of three different excursions. “D-Day Remembered” is a full day excursion to the US sector. Your first stop will be the village of Arromanches, where the remains of the floating harbor used during the WWII landings can be seen. Day 6 LES ANDELYS – CONFLANS
Depart Rouen early this morning and enjoy scenic cruising on the Seine to Les Andelys. An mid-day stroll along the river offers beautiful views of the Seine Valley’s dramatic white cliffs, centuries-old half-timbered houses, and the hilltop ruins of Château Gaillard. This former stronghold of Richard the Lionheart changed hands a number of times during the Hundred Years’ War. Athletically-inclined guests may enjoy hiking up to visit the ruins of this historic castle before we continue our cruise along the Seine. The ship arrives tonight in Conflans. (B,L,D)

Extra Special Retreats Coming…

I love to travel, explore new parts of the world, try new foods, take in the local culture, take my time in an art museum and find the perfect place to create.

Creating art and traveling has helped me to grow as an artist in ways I could have never imaged.

Recently, one of my students was talking to a group of women and shared about my workshops. Her words made their way back to me and she later wrote to me how much my workshop meant to her and her creative process…

“Jeanne Oliver is not just an art teacher, she is an artist’s teacher. Jeanne doesn’t just show you how to replicate the beautiful art that she creates, she teaches you how to create your art as an artist. When retreating with or studying under Jeanne, her art is not your primary inspiration, her way of creation, her way of being as a living artist is. Learning to make art with Jeanne is learning to develop yourself as a uniquely gifted artist. Jeanne teaches the art of becoming an artist, that is most clearly her purpose and call.”  -Cara

I have to tell you that when I read those words my hear was FULL because I have never just wanted to teach someone to make art just like me…I have wanted to help others to find their own way creatively and make art!

Your art can be writing, gardening, photography, decorating, storytelling, painting, cooking and the list goes on and on.

I am so excited to share that I have two very special art retreats that are coming up next year.

There is very limited space in both retreats!

Won’t you consider joining me next year and making time to connect with your creative self? It is one of the most priceless gifts I have ever given to myself.

The Living Studio Along the Danube {Prague, Vienna, Budapest and more}

Ever since I have been a little girl I have been a lover of history, architecture, art and I have ALWAYS known…I would travel.

I am greatly driven by my desire to learn, explore and to discover more of this world.

My family makes choices all of the time that will make it possible for us to travel more and to have less of other things.

We want to collect adventures and memories and not just things.

I have an extremely exciting announcement to make and we have been working on it for awhile now.

For all of you lovers of adventure, history, art and travel…this is for you!

Join me in October 2016 for The Living Studio Along The Danube!

Imagine exploring and creating in Prague, Regensburg, Vilshofen, Passau, Linz, Weisskirchen, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest!

Just imagine…

Explore different cities and villages and never have to repack your bags!

Enjoy gourmet food, cooking classes, lectures!

We will have structured art classes on the ship and then creative prompts that will encourage you to create in the cities and villages.

THIS is the heart of The Living Studio!  It is my desire that you make the whole world your studio.

This is not just for painters and sketchers…this is for all of us!

If you love history, art, architecture, live music, wine tasting, cooking classes, lectures, bike tours…this is for you!

The best part is that you get to choose each day what you do or don’t do. You can participate in the classes or you can lounge by the pool…or both!

The details…

How about grabbing a bike from the ship and exploring an ancient village?

Here is a more detailed itinerary if you choose to include Prague into your trip.

I hope you choose to explore and create with me!
